Annoying Family/Friends

My girl friend sometimes does a little baby voice to the fish, but she keeps it to a minimum, usually because of the "are you serious" :irked: look from me haha.

Other than that, she will touch the tank on occasion, but not tap, I ask her to please not touch it and then she looks at me like oh yeah, bam hand prints all over...she is just a punk :D

Only other thing I find is sometimes some car prints on the front, the tank is high enough so he cant jump on top, and has no edge so he cant sit in front of it...but sometimes he just cant resist a good stretch and super close up look. But for the most part he just sits in the chair in front of the tank and keeps a supervisory watch

my mom likes to come in and tell me how ugly my fish are. my friends see them and are blown away by the size of my 55 gallon tank. im always like, "its still small, wait intill i get my 240" they are speechless after that.

uhh lol i was feeding my morays silversides with a feeding stick and my lil 8 yr old sis shows up ith like 4 friends. they are all asking me ?'s and pulling on my arm and touching the tank. finnaly one annoys me so much i took the silver side and shoved it in her lil squeeling mouth

I have only had one incident with my son so far. He took a lego guy, tied a string around his neck, and put that in the puffer tank. The puffers were biting the lego guy and my son kept making sound affects. I was cooking dinner so I had no idea, until I was like what the heck is he doing?? I went to check on him..and he quickly yanked out the lego dude.

We've had a talk since then, and as part of his punishment, I am delaying him having a tank in his room. (he wants one soo bad).

i thought ther were unwritten laws about playing around with other peoples tanks, kinda lke a code

the most annoying thing is my friends calling my peacock bass a peacock b*tch every 5 seconds they are next to the tank, it drives me crazy after hearing it 35 times a day.
i also have to deal with is my dad and my mom telling me I don't feed my fish enough, because everytime they go near the tank my fish swim out to them and follow them as the move.
Another annoying things is my friends always trying to get me to feed my fish, because its cool watching them eat feeders so when ever i leave the room the try to sneek in feeder fish, so now when i leave the room they leave the room.
And last but not least my friends saying "dude u wasted all ur money on retarded fish like peacock b*tches, you should of gotten some cool salt water fish like a lionfish." and they say this every single day.

just realised i forgot 1, my friend who has a 55gallon tank with 1 oscar, 3 red devils, 2 severums, 2 blood parrots and pleco, tries to tell me i know nothing about my fishes and that online lies to u and that he knows everything he is talking about. I'll break down his tank for u and almost every day i beg him to just give me or a pet store his fish till he does it right and i get the response "guy i kno what im talking about, online lies to u my tank is fine" His tank is most disgusting tank ever lol, the water was so bad it was a dark green to the point all u saw was a black blob when the oscar was swimming and the tank was overrun with brown algea, all because he didn't cycle his tank because he thinks u cycle ur tank by putting 2 dozen goldfish in ur tank for 2 days and then its fine. He does a 5 gallon water change once a month or month and a half. I personally tested his water and his ph was 8.4, nitrates were high and his ammonia was at 4.0 and again insisted his tank is fine and he knows what he is doing. Then i finally talked him into redoing his tank and let his fish stay in my extra tank so he could do it right. So he recleans the entire tank fills it back up, puts in new filter bag and adds 5 goldfish, waited a day and put his fish back in. And worst of all is how he feeds his fish, well we call him Lil Wayne of fish feeding because he literally makes in rain on his fish, in other words he fills up half of a cap of pellets and half a cap of flakes and pours that in his tank twice a day to the point when u touch his gravel u stir up fish flakes broken down to what looks like a red dots floating in the water, but he says thats fine because the fish eat the flakes off the ground when there hungry. Also he once left a dead crayfish in his tank for 3 weeks cus he said his fish will eat it when there hungry. Next time i'm at his house i'll take pictures for u, if u guys don't believe me.
