trouble is though as soon as he grows out of it his second in command (his 9 month old sister will probably take over the reigns) and it will all start again

ppl are pretty good around my tank...they know tht if they pster/touch/spook my fish that theres consequence and they arnt very nice...so they dun go near my fish...
The last time that one of my friends watched and fed my fish everything went fine. Except for that the fact that my computer was in my fish room and he crashed it downloading porn..... Fish were fine though...
my mom hates my fish and i came home from school to find them all in one tank and my puffer terrorizing them. now that sucks cuz i had to re setup all the other tanks and buy more fish (yay i had an excuse) to cycle them THEN put them all back (yes she dumped them too) GOD that sucks
especially when i found all my new born guppy fry in my puffers belly. ugh it took me weeks to get them back to normal and a month to get my fry back... grrr.
Have you explained to your mom that she can't do that? Man, I would be beyond mad if anyone did that with my fish lol.
i have and she thinks that all fish live in the same water and they can all live together... shes crazy so ive exiled my fish to a room and set it up so its really loud so she wont step anywhere near it.
my folks really dont care much about my stuff which i dont like. i want to them care, and see what ive done. my mom always talks about how my flowerhorn just look like a common tilapia and that we should cook it for dinner!hahaha
