Annoying Family/Friends

You gotta be the alpha male rofl, make them scared to touch the tanks! You need to be unpredictable like oscar, bite them randomly!

Personaly I smack people for even looking at my tanks. They're thinking oooo look at the pretty fishes... perhaps I'll just give them some of this hea fish food ... they look hungry...

Then I walk by and... SMACK, just like that. Stern and to the point. They relate my fish tank with pain, and hiss violently the word fish is even mentioned.

Of course that was a joke but this is a true story:

One time I caught my best friend feeding my catfish a hotdog, I took one hard look at him and said...

"Chris... I've killed a man for less."

ill just tell ppl that if they want to feed my fish they have to hand feed them ( i only have Ps)

I have a small 10 gallon tank with some feeders on the bottom of a 60g grow out tank. The 10 was low in feeders and I threw a common pleco that was given to me in there, and since doing that my beagle constantly harasses the pleco following its every move in the 10g tank. Until one day I come home, and find the pleco is outside the back door of the house on the ground. She must have scared the pleco into jumping out of the narrow space between the filter and the splash guard, and picked him up and put him outside. More like and annoying pet than family or friend, but my tanks all look like crap after my company leaves, smeared with food, oil, dirt and other unknowns, the glass often needs a good cleaning.

My boss..swings his arms around my tank and scare my fish. But since he is an extremely cool dude, I have to forgive him.

I don't have it as bad as some.

My grandpa is convinced my water changes are COMPLETELY unnecessary and ridiculous ("look at your grams fish!" -her nitrates = 90+)

My bro thinks the most effective way to catch fish, when necessary, is to whizz the net around the tank as fast as possible... I nearly killed him for that one.

And my cat... omg. She harrasses the fish so much, that they don't even bother to run away any more. The betta taunts her. In short- they got bored with her jumping and slapping before she got bored with their colors ad movements (which just aren't THAT spectacular) Nevermind she hasn't figured out how to go from the top, shes convinced EVENTUALLY she'll get through the glass. (her kittens on the other hand, figured out where the HOB outlet was on the first week. Kittens didn't try that twice. :-D )

My cousins always bang on the tank walls.

I usually tell them straight up to knock it off and explain that it bothers the fish, but they're little, I doubt it gets through.

DAYEM!!! these post can go on FOREVER!!!! for real... its like you know how to raise fishes but your family members are just ignorant about it... they need to treat your stuff with some respect!
