so well started work this morning and just about finished setting it up :) forgot the time needed to wash the gravel...

anyways waiting for the darkness to set in so that i can take some nice snaps and post it in here :)

well finally took some pics [blurred and unclear as they may be] :nilly:

and well see for yourself...

the wood in the center is real. the plants and the two bamboos at the sides are fakes. and the raphael talking catfish is real as well :naughty:

added some CLs and the Polyps yesterday night [yet to take snaps of those] and well tomorrow is the day the Dragon enters his new lair :headbang2

cant wait:popcorn:

just a thought, but i think having the driftwood in the middle and having everything symmetrical with the wood the focal point makes the tank look small. i would mix it up a bit IMO

hmm i guess thats true but i have been always like that i guess...

how about i bring the wood to one corner and place the bamboos to the other side...will that help?

If you've just set it up that means it's not cycled. You'll get a massive ammonia spike which will kill your clowns and if you're putting your arow in soon that also my die.
You need to keep some inexpensive fish it there for about a month before you put anythin of value in.

^ don't take the risk, I think you can also buy some liquid that speeds up the bio media process. I'd also think about taking the loaches out so you can cycle your tank, they're very sensitive.
I'm not sure if it's correct but while cycling i didn't do any water change. It took about 3 weeks, just keep testing your water and you'll see the figures starting to rise then they'll drop, this means your filter and tank are cycled. you can then gravel vac, clean the glass anf do a big water change. Your tank will then be ready for the nice fishes.

It looks good by the way, i like the center wood but just move it around a bit and when you're happy keep it that way.
What filter are you using?

like you said no point taking an expensive risk...shall tell the LFS guy to hold my dragon for a few weeks :)

and yea shall do a bit of re-arranging and see how it feels...but sitting in front of this tank [empty as it may be] is just so serene...cant even imagine how it will be with the banjar in it :)
