Another reason to hate PetSmart

Well if you dont know they have bought a number of Super Pet locations, and at super pets you used to be able to trade in your fish, but now that Pet Smart owns then they dont do that anymore because they dont want to risk their animals but I bet you my fish are healthier then theirs....

And I dont really like dealing with PJ's because they have little tanks with tiny fish...

Stupid Petsmart.....

oh and something else to add to the list, I went there (since they used to be the best fish place in town) and I got a 6 Apollo Sharks which was fine... but what wasnt fine was the lady trying to sell me little piranha as silver dollars...
 
I wish someone would try to sell me pirahna for the price of silver dollars!

The stores have just begun to change the signs over to Petsmart, and the employees should be the same as before... so the lady, formerly of SuperPet, tried to sell you those....

Actually most of the original fish staff quit, as I have been going there for a while so i knew most of them, since I didnt recognize the lady I asked her about the staff and found out nearly everyone left...
 
I don't know if you have a Big Al's around you but I've found them to be the best stores in Ontario. Wide selection of fish, and most of the staff are knowledgeable and fish enthusiasts themselves. Their stock is always great and they will buy fish from you for store credit. Other than that, I can only reccomend finding a local fish store / pet store that you like. I only go to petsmart when theyre having a sale on filter replacements etc. :) Truthfully though, the petsmart near me has what look like nice fish.
 
well when I first went to get my fish I went to a Pet Smart by my house that has always been a pet smart and they wouldnt sell me any fish with an Oscar because "oscars eat fish" so I ended up not getting any fish from there. I wanted a Oscar and a JD for my 150gal and she said no....
 
Well usually I would defend Petsmart because It is awsome but this time Petsmart is own their own.
 
oh and they had Red Tailed Tin Foil Barbs labeled as Golden Sharks... What the heck is a golden shark not to mention Tin Foils are silver no where near gold...

Petsmart and I dont get a long, and now they have taken my favourite pet store away so I am just mad :ROFL:. So back to Big *** Al's for me :headbang2:D
