ANY alternative snake food?

There is no alternative for you. Either you tell mom to get over it or you tell yourself forget it! There just isnt a way around a largish snake not eating whole prey items.

Yes, that is the truth. If you can't feed animals to your snake, you simply can't keep a snake, sorry. Snakes are natural predators.

Hehe, yep. We had a little argument, I read her the ingredients of cat food, I told her Its not her pet, and that was the end of that. Im actually surprised, she is usually an incredibly strong-willed woman.

Debating between baby ball python, and 3.5 foot Cali kingsnake. Im leaning towards the king because I have held him and he is very active and entertaining.

Pythons ARE so cool looking though. Ive got a couple weeks to decide
