im attempting to bonsai two meyer lemon trees i salvaged from my last trip to louisiana. i think they may have been killed in this latest april cold snap though...

Yeah this spring has not been good bonsai weather yet that's for sure. Normally I have my tropicals outside all day and bring them in at night at this time of year. So far this year they haven't even been out of the house once yet.
I picked this little guy up today for the low low price two bucks.
it stands about ten inches high,give or take.
Yeah,yet another one lol.With it's nice trunk and price I couldn't resist rescuing it.
Good job , it looks stressed, but will almost certainly come thru (junipers are pretty hardy, in arizona we have alligator- juniper
Thanks and yes it was bone dry when I spotted it and it was about to be totally hidden by a display of Mother's Day flowers and bouquets.I gave it a good soaking after I brought it home.
Took a break from rod order work and did some work on one of my ficus bonsai trees today. Have been working on this one for about 4-5 years now. Been gradually root pruning it yearly to get it down into a shallow bonsai pot and finally was able to get it in today. Also did some rewiring of all the branches as well. I'm really happy with the direction this one is going, especially considering I had chopped it down to nothing but a 4" stump 5 years ago and started from scratch.
