Anybody else here who uses only de-chlorinator and nothing else?

Do some research of your own. It might suprise you

and some research would tell you that people with chloramines have no choice but to use a chemical.... prime and hikari ultimate are what i use.. never had a death from using them pretty sure ive kept alot of fish from dying by using them...

no, people with di and tri chloramines in their tap water for disinfection use chemicals.

I just had a bad exp with chemicals maybe 5 years ago on a Reef tank where all my inverts died. Now i only top off the Reef tanks with water from my freshwater tanks and top off the Freshwater tanks with aged water from 5 gallon jugs.

To me, you're clearly generalizing all chemicals as harmful. There are advantages and disadvantages towards their uses however your above post indicates to me you were using a chemical with copper sulfate in it. Copper sulfate especially when not chelated can actually destroy all invertebrates. Did you research further your options before you used that particular chemical?

I have talked to customers at the LFS where I used to work that claimed that even with chelated copper they still had deaths in their salt tanks after using Organicure (which has chelated copper in it) to try and treat saltwater ich..

inverts can be very sensitive.

I don't add any dechlorinator, but then again, I don't have any chlorine in my well water.

They used Prime by the gallon at the LFS I worked at for a summer.
