Anybody into weight lifting/body building?

I do diamonds, wide grips, and push ups with my arms parallel to my body (don't know their name). I am probably going to start doing clap push ups, but I think going to the gym with weights might benefit me more.

The entire first year I started working out, I did nothing but calisthenics work outs using my own body weight and went from 115-150 in 3 months. As long as you keep mixing things up, these work outs will continue to help you. Try doing explosive push-ups or pull-ups as well as slow, like when going down, count 5 seconds then 5 more going up so 10 sec total for just 1 push up. They kill!

Sounds like a great idea, usually I do slow workouts but I will try that! Muscle confusion greatly benefits the work to right?

Should I work out every other day to allow muscle repair? Or everyday?

Muscle confusion's what it's all about in order to get strong or else you'll plateau.

I work out 6 days a week but never the same muscle group. Like today I'm gonna do chest, tomorrow back, then quads, shoulders, arms and lastly glutes/hamstrings. Everyday I'll throw in calves and abs at the end cuz those are the only muscle groups that you can actually hit everyday. Then next week I'm switching up the days I work each muscle group as well as the exercises I'm doin. I switch up every 3 weeks. 1 week I just pyramid up on weights and do 4 sets of each, then the following week I go really light and do 4 sets of 15-20 reps then the last week I go super heavy and do 6-8 sets of 1-4 reps.

I've never done that before. All I really do to switch it up is I'll train one week with barbell and the next with dumbbells. I usually throw in cables on my barbell days.

As long as I hit each muscle group twice a week I usually don't find myself to be super sore. The one thing that I always feel though is weighted pull ups on my back day. It just kills my lats and I'm usually sore the next day.

Definitely. I always find it's easier to study after I get a good workout in.
