Anybody into weight lifting/body building?

I run Wendler 531, its based on the big 4 powerlifting movements with different accessory options depending on your goals, I'd definitely recommend it to naturals who want consistent progress over time. If you take PED's or are a general bro-tard the programme isn't for you.
 
This is me a few months back. At 15 years old. I've gained muscle but lost definition is my abs. Amy tips?

Anything outside? I disagree. Calisthenics can definitely get you bigger, stronger, and more endurance.

Yes. The first few years I started working out all I did was calisthenics but it only works so well until you reach a certain point. Calisthenics got me from 115-145 but then stopped. Once I started lifting weights, I went from 145-185 the first few months. I wasn't saying that anything outside is cardio for everyone. I was saying to me, anythjng outside is strictly cardio. Including calisthenics. When the reps are going beyond 20, in my case, closer to 100, then that's definitely not strength training for me. That's pretty much cardio

In my opinion whether you have abs is mostly dependent on diet and or genetics. I know people who don't even lift, eat whatever they want and have a nice six pack, but for most people you have to eat healthy and stay lean to get visible abs. As long as you're getting enough protein you should be able to lose some fat without losing muscle.

As long as you continue lifting and you're eating enough protein, you don't need to worry about losing muscle while trying to get those abs. Just make sure the amount of calories you're burning each day is > the amount you're consuming
