Facepalm.

Imagine living in a field. No cover, no shelter. Food is dropped in every day and the sky is lowered once a week. Now imagine you are to stupid to understand what is going on. Now... tell me you wouldn't be stressed.

Dude, you're a joke.

Go back to your spongebob thread.

I should also mention that your "theory" of the sky being "lowered" is retarded. Imagine you're in a field... would you be able to tell when the sky is "lowered"? Facepalm for you buddy.

HAHAHAHAHA. LMAO. It was a hypothetical situation. And fine lets say it is a warehouse and the roof is lowered. Happy? I have more to say but I'd get a message from a mod instantly for it.

You killed a fish because he was doing what evolution and instinct are telling him to do? That is disgusting. There is always someone willing to take fish.

To the OP: I would build a divider with a hole in it that was big enough for her, but not foe him. So she had a retreat but could still swim around and possibly breed.

as far as 'evolution&insticts' goes it wasn't because of that. i was very aware of how aggressive they were supposed to be, but in the end all my fish were dying/dead/destroyed by it even though they were viable/bigger tank mates/plenty of room. i will admit, at the time, my LFS' wouldn't take him and was unaware of MFK classifieds, and my ideas fizzled after i asked all tank owners i know if they would take him. perhaps i should have stood around the fish section for hours or days and offered free fish to anyone who wanted him. i've never actually killed anything besides the dempsey and bugs for display, and both were years ago. *shrug* i'm the scum of the earth! oops. : \

I was harsh, but I think it was the wrong thing to do.

Why are people being so mean? I believe there are more ways to show your opposition rather than being rude. Would you listen to someone who's disrespectful at you? I certainly would prefer someone who shows me kindness. I almost got turned off by this forum because of people's rudeness. If not for some that are knowledgeable in fish hobby but yet still nice, i would have look for another forum. No need to bash people around, or return the rudeness. Props for Mother Monster for maintaining his/her cool, and for Younglin for admitting harshness.

Don't blame your fish, that is his nature. It is your failure as a fish keeper. You can not keep any other fish with most male flowerhorns. You should have known that before putting the parrot in with him. Do the right thing and either divide the tank or put her in her own tank. Not trying to be mean just hoping to educate a fellow fish keeper.
