anyone here been bitten!

My calvus (Tanganyikan fish) bit me... not 1nce but 2wice on separate occasions... during an aquascape once taking it apart and once putting it togeather again... teritorial little buggers they are i had a nice circular row on blood spots on my fingers from where his teeth got me :) not a fish i like to go near

To answer the question...no, I haven't been bitten by my annectens...nor do I want to be bitten. :D

He's come close a few times when I was feeding, and like the other posts mention...the are QUICK. My annectens is just about to break the 3 foot mark, so I'm hoping I can go the rest of his existance saying I've never been bitten. :D
 
wasnt there someone who had airstones crushed by their lungs?
 
Mine did.

I invested in pond airstones, about the size of a tennis ball, and he hasnt managed to crush them yet.

the question was about lungfish :screwy:
 
i regularly pet my lung when he was in my tank and also now hes in the pond.
ive been bitten on countless occasions,
btu he never bit hard.
he was just hungry and thought i was food.
never drew blood.
but ive seen him chomp goldfish.
and i dont want that happening to my finger.

Why is it still worth keeping despite living with the phobia that one day you will have your fingers bitten off by ? ...plse share the reason why . thks
