Anyone hunt mushrooms?

I was thinking about that 'cauliflower fungus' too, but it also reminded me of a young Chicken-of-the-Woods (Laetiporus sulphureus) or a young Meripilus gigantea. Chicken-of-the-woods is edible, and has a meaty texture that is supposed to be pretty good. Some people are allergic to it though; it is a beautiful fungus!

My childhood friend and mycological mentor (Oregon's very own Hillbilly Gourmet, the "Farmer de Ville") has found a few good examples of Chicken-of-the-Woods, I've only seen rotten remnants. :(
