In all seriousness Peanut.... I posted this to gauge interest. Sounds like there are about 5, including you and I, that are interested.... far from the 40 he is looking for. I've never orchestrated something this complicated with people from out of State, etc. I had intended to pass on Grey's information such as email address and have him facilitate his own sales and I, along with a couple of the So. Cal. Hobbyists, could do a "Group Buy" as we did with Beanis. ANY and ALL input you have or suggestions would be beneficial to the forum and this thread in particular. I'll see if I can't get him to sign up here too..... the waters warm here!

Thats the bum deal with trying to do group orders. There are tons of people that say they want in and are interested, but when the time comes to show the money they get weak kneed and back out. Very frustrating. :(

Not sure if John Rambo has seen this yet, I know he will want in. There are quite a few other members as well. Just out of curiousity, does the supplier who is going to be getting these ornatum have any other fish available? I'm assuming they will be coming direct from SA no? Thats why we need the larger #'s to fill the boxs?

You're doing a great job. I'll see what I can do to round up a few more people from this area. :)

Check...... contacted him prior to starting this post! He sent me a reply saying he's in. I originally contacted him regarding some Hoplarchus Psitticus.... but quickly changed gears when the Ornatums peaked my attention. Ewok and Ruck Fules are the other So. Cal. perspective buyers.....

Eh NO! I say a big NEGATIVE on that one. :ROFL: You are doing just fine. :) I did send a PM to John Rambo though, lol, but I guess that base is already covered. Sent out about ten more emails as well to other people I know of that might be interested. :)

I just need to find more people around HERE that want some. The shipping is going to be the killer. :(
 
House, you may already know this, but USPS is not available to Grey due to his location. I emailed him about other fish and we ran into some pricy shipping problems because I dont have a personal account with any various shipping alternatives. In the end I was left with an airport pick up option. Although we are both in the west coast, door to door shipping was higher than it is from the east cost. If this was not accounted for initially, it may bring the price up by another $50 to get ornatum to your front door.
 
House should take the lead on this one because he's got the leadership and organizational skills to carry this out.
not to mention that Firemen do nothing during the day time as well... talk about the volume of spam email he sends to me and ruck fules, who are trying to be productive members of the corporation we belong to.

i nominate sean of orange county to do the group buy for the entire USA.

287 text messages this month and about 80% of them are from House...and he doesn't even like me. :P

In all seriouness though, I've seen other pictures of ornatum that don't match up to the one posted from WW - are there different variants or what's the story there?
