I want in. But how would this be done? Shipped to Cali, then re-shipped to other states? PM me Sean when you have everything figured out.

What......!

Copy... the blind leading the blind!

I was unaware of how big this has gotten! I've not been on the site for some time as I've had other things going on.

Here is the deal on the ornatum:

They are from Oliver
Price will range $110-120ea at 3" (this includes F/G, importation fees, etc)
Fish are wild
Fish will be shipped to Seattle, quarantined, and then shipped to you a week or so later.

The five in the video are in Seattle, WA currently at Mel O'Meara's home. We are planning on bringing in 50+ in the next month or two if we have enough PRESOLD (not preorders). Im working with a long time friend of mine who owns a store in Seattle. Im originally from there and I help him out when I can. I currently run the internet sales for him on Aquabid-he has great stuff and a limited customer base to sell to. It's fairly easy to run this part of the business offsite with digital cameras, etc. The website to the store is www.aplaceforpets.org if you'd like to verify.

As for shipping options-the USPS will no longer accept live fish out of Seattle according to some new regulation that they jammed in our face a couple of weeks ago. We will ship DHL, FedEX, UPS, etc-but it wont be cheap $100+ easily. If you or your work has an acct with these carriers, we will use it for you.

We have also just recently created accts with Alaska, Southwest and Continental Air Cargo to ship fish as well. Typically this method runs between $50-75 depending on weight. We are working on other carriers as well, but these take time.

If you are interested-seriously interested inquiries only, you can PM me. Ill give you the paypal acct number and you can tell me how many you want. If you see something else on his list, we may be able to acquire that as well for you.

Thanks for the interest-lets hope to get this awesome fish firmly planted in the hobby!

Yahoo......... Grey speaks! 1, 2, 3...... Not it Peanut/John!

Thanks Grey for posting and clarifying the information! This should eliminate the middleman and the confusion.

"Presold" as in pay in full now.....then receive them two months from now? No partial deposits?

*Sean, I can always find a way to become confused!:grinno:

Presold = paid prior to ordering. I dont want to shell out $4K+ on a bunch of ornatum and have a bunch of folks stiff me. Considering how many 'group buys' go south, I'd rather not be left holding the bag. Trust me-the profit margin on these is slim.

Ill get PMs from everyone who wants them-when we have the right number of people who want them, Ill ask for the payment within a certain timeframe. We will then order them, quarantine them and then ship them. I know that when I purchase fish on Aquabid, I must pay prior to them arriving-I dont see a difference here.

I have plenty of feedback on aquabid under fishman33437 (my personal collection) and Aplaceforpetsorg (the retail store). Im also a powerseller on Ebay (fishman76092) with 600+ transactions at 100%.

Trust me when I tell you that youll pay the same if not more if you purchased directly through him given the F&W docs, international shipping and the hefty minimum order. Or you can just buy thru me!

Hope that clears things up.

If they die in transit to the store, you will get refunded ONLY if we get refunded from Oliver.

We will guarantee live arrival to you so long as the fish arrive at the guaranteed time by the carrier. If FedEX, the airlines, etc mess up and they arrive late-we will not guarantee them. You will need to file a claim with the carrier. We've had great luck shipping thus far. We just lost our first fish-a large bocourti that tore up a bag going to LAX.

Photos of DOA's will be required.
