Anyone keep Brachyplatystoma flavicans before?

ok la catfish cost $250 aro cost $15. Happy?
I just like silver fish. Do you know only flavicans is one of it kind shiny metallic golden...I cant think of other type of fish with same type of shine and looks.

Doing fine. But still not yet seen it eat infront of me... once bigger I will post. It growth rate seem quite fast.

Filas are not totally silver though. I can't think of any other silver surfer catfish.

I had a 15"...check out some of my old threads. Great fish, but slow growere, and easily startled. My best advice is to have him in a pond. Wont startle as easily and damage its snout. beautiful fish, Miss mine so have a new one on the way

Please post your new one here. And I seen your post... when you got it, it is already quite big right. How the growth rate?fast I think it about 1 month 1"

As I said SLOW grower. I got it at just over a foot. Definitely less than 1"/month growth rate. Silversides and Shrimp were its fave food. I gave a few new ones coming in. Ill post pics when they're settled.
