Here you go. This is a pic when I added him to my 180. I had him for months before that. His face healed right up after the 2 week freak out time. I have had this guy since he was about 3 inches in a smaller tank.

Very nice the body seem perfect. Not like mine I need to cut the tail abit to to let it grow nicer. It hard to find a perfect one..How big now??

Only about 6-8 inches. Just this week it started taking real sized food. It was a real problem keeping it fed when it was smaller. I had to keep it in a small tank with food everywhere or it would starve for 4 months. Its getting better, but never hunts for food like a normal cat.

I also never see them eat... only once awhile tummy can see the belly big.
I notice they dun grow in length but in mass.

Growth rate....

Well this picture below shown my 1st one... nothing on the growth rate seem like getting bigger in size not length

Next is my 2nd one.... to me consider quite perfect look at the tail :)
It is now the same size as my 1st one so grown about 1.5" I guess
the body seem slimmer type and compare to both this is golden while as my 1st one is silver.

Very nice! At this size do they still like to dash about?

You have many h. vittatus, how much does it cost overthere?

They still dash so to stop that I use cushion padding... As they only swim in length. And it works, it recover from some banging injury. And look very perfect. Vittatus is SGD65 can check out my other collection of dorado too.

Do you still have the original one?

How often do you come across small specimens of these? Less than 3"?
