Anyone race cars?

Funny my little story started a big debate.
I didnt really mean anything by it other then it is just fun to drive in a "spirited" fashion and hang with some nice cars. I mean my car cost me 9K, gets maybe 160hp to the ground, yet I can still have just as much fun with the guys that have cars that cost 10-15x more and are getting 3x more HP.
I'm not contributing that to my car, my driving skill, or anything cool like that. I think it is because I drive the road at least 2x daily to and from work so I know it well. But, who am I kidding, it is nice when I see a guy in an M3 look in his rearview mirror at me on his ass when he thought I had no chance to keep up!
Cars and racing is one hobby/sport that I have always loved but never really had the time and mainly the money to get into. Maybe one day when Im old and retired I can actually get into it!

You do realize that this is a predominantly male oriented hobby and you're asking all of us about cars ? hahah lol
I own a business, we're wholesale and retail distribution for hardcore racing parts as well turbo components. I have heard every paragraphs in any car magazine from customers that calls or walk in here..

Some of it probably is experiance on that certain road, and some knowing how your car reacts from experiance.. But you have found the greatest thing about cars to me. Pwning everyday joe's and being proud that what you choose to drive cost's a fraction of the price but still gets the job done.
(Not saying every high dollar car is pwnable, but it gives you a nice feeling when something you've put work into to be different, or something you drive on a budget keeps up with those who payed 4 times as much for their car..)
