I was thinking about removing that red cover part and placing them on the underside of the glass though and drilling a hole small enough for it to fit through (not sure if it would work). Do you think it would stick well enough to the underside of the glass without falling in. I'll probably only get one shot at it because if it falls into the water that would most likely remove the stickiness. I might have to go with two of the tripple led fixtures and run one of those jumpers for $2.99, then find a 12 volt somewhere around the house to plug into it. That's exactly what i'm thinking about doing though. If I were you I would probably mount the 8 wire jumper underneath of the tank to conseal some of the wiring, make it look neater. I'm sort've a neat freak though.
I'm not sure that I would trust the adhesive to last in such a wet environment. I guess that if it doesn't last, you could still use tape or something to hold it by the wire from the top????
As far as the wires showing on mine,,, you can't see them because of the lights in front of them. I have to get on my tip toes to see them. If they were visible, I'd have them tucked somewhere.
