The piping does look better than leaving it white and I never knew that uv exposure would be an issue....thanks for answering.
That is a gorgeous tank,I'm guessing it is acrylic and did you build the stand yourself?

Yeah the tank is acrylic. Got it a few years ago off of craigslist with no stand. I'm a plumber/welder by trade so built the stand for it just a few months ago.

Thanks. Here's the small stand I just built for the 80 gallon reservoir that will sit under the 750 gallon tank for the water prior to going into the sieve.

Just started converting the old 80 gallon tank into the sump. Will be drilling quite a few more holes in it soon.
