I deffinately hope you can get those wild cac's bred, they are hard to find and much prettier IMO than the man made forms. Good luck with them.

yea that would be great. They are relatively small fish. You just want to provide a cave for the female to lay eggs. Here is what I use:

I like to plant my tanks with low light plants. I like sand for my apisto breeding tanks (the female excavates). I use alot of wood and leaf litter to make it tannin rich.

Stunning fish I love apistos. They are some of the most interesting and beautiful fish, and they are so easy to house since they don't need a lot of room. I'm getting a couple pairs in the mail tomorrow and I can't wait!
