Any recommendations? These fhs are local so no shipping to factor into the final price. I wont lie, im a bit intimidated by the idea of importing with transshippers and all.

Anyone ever deal with petzonesandiego or any of the other vendors on aquabid?
Petzone has something i like but is it WYSIWYG? How does that work exactly.
Im really just looking for one BA specimen that i can pimp out. Ive raised fh fry with mixed results but this time i want sumfin special w//out dealing with dozens of fish... :rolleyes:
The first fish (Tan King?) has the tude but limited on potential i guess. :(
I do like the blue though and in person the blue sheen on his face is kinda cool.
Anyone know a good breeder/hobbyist with killer stock?

I suggest the first kamfa..second one isn't that bad. I'm a big fan of colorful FH's with moderately nice koks. Plus its a Kamfa so it will only improve with age. If you're looking for a fish with blue, skip the kamfamalau's. Flowerhornsfrombeyond.com Julie usually has a nice shipment of FH's but from the looks of her current stock list, they aren't all that great. Julie is a great shipper but contacting her may be a bit of a hassle because she is pretty busy. Shipping fish from Thailand can be pricey. If you have more FH's that are locally for sale and you want a second opinion, go ahead and post em.

Acclimating now :D. The gold base Kk was gone but this guy caught my eye.

King Kamfa also and full of potential imo. 3" I'd say. His kok shrunk a bit it seems but I'm sure it will come with time and age. The guy said this fish arrived only days ago and with no kok..
Now, as for his other stock...... Wow! This KK I could afford but he had some showstoppers for sure. 550 and up so i couldnt really play. Wish i had photos but my phone died while I was on my way there.:(
Anyway, what you think? Be honest.

I would buy whatever you want. Your the one who has to look at him everyday and price shouldn't matter. I feel the same way about shipping. I rather see him in person and take em home. Gl with your new pickup :)

Head def shrunk a bunch since he was in the store but he's right on the glass like a champ whenever i get close. He's still relatively small so i hope to see him develop like a kamfa's supposed to.
This tank is getting some darker gravel soon as well.

Still a good looking fish! How much was he? Does he eat? I think he's going to look pretty good as he ages.
