Aquarium fish KILLING owners?

According to http://www.plosone.org/article/info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0041296 on "Fish Tank Granuloma Caused by Mycobacterium marinum"
"Many factors play important roles in causing M. marinum infections. These include prescription of local or systemic steroids or immunosuppressive agents, and structural lung diseases. Among these, the primary risk factor is exposure to aquatic environments or marine animals. Thus, M. marinum infection is also known as “fish tank granuloma"

Thus, wearing rubber gloves or any at all unless working with specific(dangerous) fish is not something most aquarists should be concerned of.

And that is the very reason I got infected. Didn't think koi was dangerous. Take your chances bro.

A full grown electric catfish or bad stingray sting could kill probably someone or at least seriously hurt them.

I didn't think electric catfish were strong enough to be of actual concern. Does anyone know how strong their shock is, or can be?

No way an e-cat could do this.

Electric eels kill animals as massive as crocodiles, and as such they pose a huge threat to humans, regardless of size and heart condition.
