Aquarium sizes average people think are sooooo big...

I know that General Aquaria means anything to do with the hobby but isn't it usually people wanting advice? something like this seems more like a lounge post.
One wouldn't be bad, but this OP has two more threads started in the last few weeks on basically the same subject:duh: so it just adds to the clutter.

ive never liked you.

As if I care, if it is a problem for you. Maybe you should learn to use the ignore feature this forum offers :p

Maybe you should use that feature as well Brian...

Didn't someone say once that let the children come to him? ;)

I enjoy these things...of course I often respond with irreverent answers.

Me using the ignore feature doesn't elevate the clutter as the thread still shows up within the list of threads. Just saying it is nonsensical to have the same kid post the same subject in three different threads within such a short time span.

Craigslist is the worst place to find huGGGGGGGGE tanks! But I do still get excited when I see the post on there with huge in the title even though it ends up being a 55gal. Maybe one day it will actually be huge.

I seen my friend 315G tank one time and I was surprise how small it is since it's only 2 feet high but then that because I own 1200G tank so I use to how my 3ft high tank look.

I drool over my buddy's 8x4x4, but I'm excited to see my 900 10x4x3high tank setup, it's gonna be crazy to have a 10footer, I've had a 6x3x3, but 4' wide is gonna be different!

MFK big aquariums are 400 and up. But people that are not in hobby and haven't watched Tanked show. I'd say a 75 gallon would be big for average person too look at.

Once you get a big tank it will seem small. I thought my 180 was huuuge. Now it seems extremely small.

Agreed! I went from a 55 to a 180. Seemed MASSIVE when I picked it up, and when I put my fish in it. Few months down the road... I need (ok want) a bigger tank. Mine is too small! hahahaha

No in home tanks seem large after visiting the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, that 6.6 million gallon tank is beyond belief.
