Never been to the Georgia Aquarium, but I have been to Shedd in Chicago... ahhhhhmazing!

No one told me my 55 gallon aquarium was big, but when I had a 8in jd before people thought that was HUGE!!!!!

I know that General Aquaria means anything to do with the hobby but isn't it usually people wanting advice? something like this seems more like a lounge post.

When I first came into the hoppby I had alot of reptiles. I purchased a 90 gallon, since then a 125 fresh, then a 180 fresh, then a 125 salt. SOON a 300 salt lol....

I thought that a 90 gallon was massive when i picked it up... It was the biggest personal tank ive seen, my buddy had one also.

On that basis... Half of everything posted in here should be lounge then!

Majority of it is just general chitchat... About fish! "general aquaria"

I'm missing the issue....

EDIT... missed the triple post. I now see the issue! Lol

Reason why people think fish takes are so big is cause they view it as a useless piece of furniture. So if you have a 55 gallon they are gonna think that is so huge and not worth the space it takes up. They just don't understand your hobby or fondness for fish. On the other hand, fishkeepers (especially on this site), look at tanks and think they are small. That is because they always want more and more fish and to keep the biggest fish. Despite what this site promotes there is some people (including myself) that are able to be content with the smaller tanks and fish.
