Are bearded dragons good starter lizards??

just wondering. And can you guys name all of the good starter lizards that come to mind? thanks guys. might get one instead of a tortoise cuz they look cooler

lol don't chose your herp because "it looks cooler". but from what i've heard, yes, they are very easy and good starters.
 
beardies are great for starter herps. they stay resonably small and are easy to handle. they are pretty tough, so they wont kick the bucket at the first mistake.

And don't forget crested geckos. I'd say beardies, leopard geckos, and cresteds are good, common starters
