Are they pets or collections ?

I consider my fish with personalities pets and the ones without are just collections of pretty things that swim around aimlessly waiting for their next meal.

my fish are part pet (subjected to my emotional interest in their well-being), part toy (subjected to my personal whims *ie: potentially unsafe animal feedings*, which may not be in their best interest). I imagine that every pet I keep will be regarded in this manner.

i name them all
but i only call the stant out fish by there names :hitting:

my alligators have names and so does my sh.
my frt's have names. and my 2 ultra ultra paster red ears have names.
my bigger snapping turtles have names.
my gtp has a name.
my dog has a name.

its kinda of weird
like my alligators are part of my family.

ive seen the pics..lol

whats with the bug spray though?

i also say both, prized collections because their something you could be proud of so you display them and pets because you care for their well being on a side note my ornate poly is godzilla,my pulcher is dexter, and my mbu puffer is e.t.,my two aros silver and jardini are double dragons

I agree with saying both. They are pets in that they are live animals that you care for, but they are also like live artwork. A fishtank really makes a room look impressive. Especially a nicely done larger tank. It just really sets off a room.
