Aren't mostly all fish like this? The darker the background, the more pronounced the colour becomes. Its a natural thing, not really a theory. As for your original question on why theres always people trying jar coms, take a look at the threads again. They ask, people say no, and they don't bother with it until someone gives them the answer they want. Then they go ahead and do it anyways...

Bingo!

Putting a whole bunch of jardinis together confuses them on who they should be going after. There's always going to be fighting but just never the bullying you get when one goes after the other relentlessly. Then if you're lucky, you get the jardini who just ignores everyone and goes about it's business.

i really didnt like how you said we found a swimming pit bull i can assume you have never owned a bully breed.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that noticed this "pit bulls" (I assume your talking about APBT) are one of the NICEST Breeds and bad owners that chain them up or treat them like BA dogs are to blame (I've met REALLY MEAN chihuahua, shiz-tzu and Pomerainian) But NEVER a Mean APBT....It is unfounded and APBT(or mixes/relatives IE Staffies Am Staff and American Bulldog) are just as likely to "attack" as anyother breed.....

On-Topic: No Jardini are more aggressive than other fish and as stated those who try these "com" and fail usually have been told not to do it

Not to be off topic but, amongst the list of aggressive dogs pit bulls don't even come close to poodles or chihuahuas. Pitbulls have the body of a fighter and people took advantage of it for the wrong reasons. Now people automatically become intimidated when they see a dogs like Pitbulls or a German shepards coming down the road but they think a poodle is cute. Chances are when you try to pet that poodle, you'll get bitten much quicker than with a Pb or a german. It comes down to how the owners train and treat their dogs.

You guys jump to conclusions fast!

For your information i study Dog phsycology, and ive been lucky enough to own the breed.

Your highly imature if it even crossed your mind that i was talking about the animal.

I was reffering to the GROWING number of idiots on here killing Jars.

It was a reference to the way the two animals are treated.

I think you all need to grow up, except that people do it and probably ban it on this site so its not further encouraged!!!

Why do we need to grow up

No one has made any immature comments to you, we're simply responding to the "swimming pit bull" comment.

Aren't you the one who's jumping to conclusions?

just my 2 cents, my 13in jar gets along fine with 2 florida gar, a 3in oscar and i 12 in rtc..... used to have a lmb that he hated but took him out and now he is perfectly peaceful unless a gar has food hanging out of his mouth or my rtc tries to push him around

ReGARdless of what the OP meant, the term "pitbull" used in similiar scenarios is just part of culture now. I can call a voracious anything a "little pitbull" if I want - it doesn't mean I am pointing a finger about the breed. It's just a popular phrase. I'd be mad too if I was the OP, you guys need to just chill out.
