I must ask how on earth do you change the water on those tanks, i't takes me the better part of 2 hours to change my 75 and 30 though I only have a hose and a 5 gal bucket plus I have to walk about 90 feet to the sink.

Too easy...I'm a mechanical engineer. I have plumbed everything to do it automatically (drip system) so my big tanks are getting water changes everyday, all the time! :headbang2

I'm what you called an "expert fish hoarder"....lol .... I have taken this sh*t to the next level baby

Im a certain fish hoarder. theres certain species that if i buy one more i think my husband will slap me with the fish bag. ie. midevils- i love collecting interesting uniquely patterned orange and white midevils. green terrors - i always end up get the $1.50 green terror if it look like a possible pair for one i dont have a mate for or if it looks like its going to be a stunner. and now jack dempseys and ebjd. i will also be known to pick up any flowerhorn that is mislabled at a lfs if it looks like it may have potential. i cant for the life of me see an ad on craigslist for bargain or free fish. my husband knows hell get that text that says on ur way home from work go pick up......:)

I don't know if I'd go as far as fish boarder just yet. But I will say it all started with a small pond in which a turtle went belly up. Less than three months later we have 3 x 120g, 6 x 30g, 2 x 20g, 4 x 10g, and a 60g. They aren't all set up yet. Actually we only have 4 tanks not set up lol. But we're working on a fish rack for the garage to consolidate everything and hopefully get an auto wc setup going like the OP, speaking of which, any plumbing advice? For now we just have tanks scattered in the kitchen, living room, garage, dining room, and bedroom. Either way, I'm not the hoarder, definitely the 'supporter' though! Lol

Hi My name is Geo and I am a fish hoarder!

It's been two days since my last trip to the fish store. Unfortunately it does me no good since I'm at work right now and my work place is 2 minutes away from one of my LFS. To make matters worst I'm headed over there right after work.

I think spring is the worst time for me as I get my income tax return and I go on a aquatic binge...oh how the mighty has fallen. But I admit I do have a problem. However, I believe I've only just begun.....Muahhhahahahahahahahha(evil laugh).....

I guess I should be a mechanical engineer, because a drip system seems so simple to set up. I actually plan on getting a few bigger tanks in the future and plumbing them all with drip systems for continuous water changes.
