Argentea Temperament?

they are pretty tough fish. Grow pretty fast. Temperment I heard they real aggressive, but I raised 3x mines to 5" then sold them. they werent that mean really. I can compare it to a Jack dempsey temperment. But you should know cichlids get nasty when they know they have a weak fish to pick on.

Did you ever get a hold of any again? I remember your wtb thread.

So I got 2 in with my Blood Parrots, all but two are significantly larger so I will see how the Argenteas interact with the smaller two.

Bad lighting makes the tank look greenish but its not.

No I didn't, they are called Rage Comics.

Not dumb, just too persitent, mine's around 8 inches and still hides every chance he gets, til another cichlid gets within eyeshot. I'd put him at flowerhorn/red devil as far as temperment goes.... attacks stuff just because he can but doesn't have the physical strength, mouth structure, or speed to win against most aggro fish his size and even smaller.

Settling in nice, the larger one seems to have grown 0.5" since I got it.
