Arizona is still better than Cali. Gas is 3.60ish in AZ. Cali is about a dollar more

Gars,snakesheads, and pirahnas are all illegal here in Idaho, not that I have the space,money, or interest in keeping them. I would hate living in arizona too, to much desert though I have it no better here in Idaho.

u guys are lucky you can even get those fish....piranhas and channa are banned here but we can still get em but there hard to find......and the worst thing bout here in aus is the pricing....are channa is like $600, prinaha $400 and gars around $500

I live in North Central Kansas. You can legally own just about anything sans Snakeheads, but you can't find anything other than your most common CA/SA cichlids, livebearers, and tetras within 180 miles in any direction.

And if thats not lame enough, do a search on CL for Aquariums in Arizona, then do one for Kansas City/Topeka. A 300 gallon tank in SoCal/Phoenix is commonplace. I would be willing to bet there are less than a dozen 240+ Gallon tanks in the state of Kansas or Nebraska.

It sucks that you can't have P's. But you don't have it that rough.

Don't sweat it man. There are tons of other GREAT fish that you can keep!!

There are definitely some states that it sucks more to live in than others. All I know is check first before you move to a state. Not being able to keep the fish you love seriously sucks.
