Untangle your panties dude..... we're just having a conversation about where the price of these armatus have gone. These sellers are disclosing there prices, so we're having a 'discussion'.

I'll remind you of your own words when fuel prices go back up and you start whining about the cost it takes to fill up your car/truck.

Don't get ahead of yourself buddy, I can assure you there's no negativity in my tone, simply expanding on the 'discussion'.

I find it Ironic that so many members are referring to Armatus as if they were always at such a low price. They've always commanded a $200+ price tag.

When RW brought them in a few years back and offered them to MFK at $250 that was considered a hell of a deal, and there werent many available.

Before that they were always at the $350+ range. Rich brought in one batch of armatus and offered them at $50 because there wasn't a positive ID that they were armatus. One time deal. A lot of people jumped on it, and that flooded the hobby for a bit, just as was the case with NGT a while back, Gulpers, and Recently Azuls.

BUT, price comes back up. Its the nature of the game. SO is that enough elaboration for you Mr. Quick to judge?

I was simply contributing my two cents to the 'discussion', and will continue to do so. As for your panties and car comments, quick to sound cool on a forum huh bud? :chillpill:

To Mr. Well informed.... Thanks for the education on the price fluctuation of armatus over recent years, apparently I have other things more important in life to keep tabs on than the ever changing prices of a fish. So as for your comment about sounding cool on a forum, go rattle you vested knowledge of "armatus economic" to the general public... You sound really cool yourself and I am so impressed. Do the math $250 per armatus or 200 armatus at $100 each, you tell me where I went wrong in my accessment that there's a decent markup. Btw, I'm not your "bud" and I'm not your "buddy"...... let's keep it that way.

Sincerely,
Mr. Quick to judge

ahhh i see. whats the diffrence?

read the captive care guide at the top of the page.

I have allways heard that the standard mark up for fish in the hobby was 3-400%.

And i now that is correct for the majority of fish.

The guys living in the little grass huts on the amazon are selling these armatus for probably no more than 10 bucks a peice. And then they move from person to person to person and the last guy probably buys them for 50-60 bucks a peice. And then puts his 3-400% mark up on them. And we get the 250-300 dollar fish.

Thats why i never see any of the lfs owners as freinds, no matter how many hours i spend in there store just talking.:D
