Yech! I never thought of aros being that full of meat despite me being an Asian.:yuck:

I am not aware of any farm in Asia that grow aros for food. There are Asian Aro farms - but these are not for food. There are farms for silver aros (i believe), but not for food either - wayyyyy more valueable as a pet than food

PS: i believe the aros have a lot of bones so not that good to eat - now bara is something else :D
 
Its wasn't all the surprising to me though. There was a thread (not in this section) aout a guy who owned an arapaima farm and he used to eat his own farmed arapaima and PLECOS. Yes his own pleco. Ill try to dig up the thread. Im sure its still active.
 
They sell dead silvers in the seafood/fish department in Mexico, just another food fish.
