arowana scared

i have a 10 inch arowana and it has been a whole month that she has bee in my aquarium but till now i have noticed that she is afraid of me very much why is this so

in what part of the house did you place his tank? are the lights on always? what are his tankmates? please specify what kind of aro it is.. i presume it's silver.. silvers really are skittish when young.. it may take a little longer..

does it the tank have a background? I have always found backgrounds to make fish to be less skittish

are you wearing red or red like colors around your arow...if you are this is a significant reason for a nervous arow.. mine jumps out of his skin and he is 5 years old....... if i forget and wear my xmas pajamas down to feed him... red tee shirts etc have to go....

some times they are like that mine didn´t get scared with me but recently after a home change it been realy scared don´t worry about it just give it time don´t bother your aro an he will come around

leave a night light on all night.... and put light on in his tank when your in the room...
