arowana scared

Hi recently my silver AROWANA is scared of me even I go near him he run away or jump...any solution for this...the tank background is white

I have found that my arowana is only scared of me when he is in a tank solo, but when he has tankmates he doesn't mind me at all.
If your aro has no tankmates, then that could be the reason why he is afraid of you.

is it bare bottom? bare bottom tanks make my fish act really weird if they were previously on sustrate because they see their reflection under them.

try to spend as much time as you can on your aro, soon enough it will recognize you as not a threat.

There's a pleco and other small fish that's all have in tank..I did try put another arowana but it try to bite the another one..so I take it out...

two arowanas in the same tank will fight. must be either kept individually or at least a group of 3

there are some exception though. If both arowana are from the same batch, they get along better.
