This is the reason I don't keep silvers. I've seen jumpy ass silvers pushing 3 feet. Monster fish my a**. My Jar, Datnoids and even clown loaches follow me where ever I go.

I have never seen a Jar I live in Florida. There is a website I thought about ordering one from but never did. I hate paying more for shipping than the fish cost me. Maybe ill trade over for a jar.
But the silver really does piss me off about how scared he is and Ive never tried to kill/harm him. And I have my tank set up with mesh around half so he can jump out for worms I put on a pully sistem and when I try and show my friends FORGET IT, he just sits on the bottom.

Yeah it took my silver aro 2 months to get used to me. Even then it would get scared when I would open the lid to feed him. Then again I only raised him from 2 inches to 4, then donated him to a friend.
My tank is full of plants. I give him a good natrual habitat.
