My tank is full of plants. I give him a good natrual habitat.

Bderic, your positive theres a website I order from and it didnt bring up that they will not ship to florida. I will look at the restricted list on this website.

Yes, I beleive I am correct. They are restricted, so there may be a way you can keep them with a permit, you would have to research this. If you do find more info on this please post it.

Someone told me when they are young around 1 - 2 inches they are easier to transport and they can still get use to different owners.. so thats why yu buy silver aros young.. like mine i got when he was around 35 cm and till now he's still skittish (4 months).. but it kind of worked out cause i got 6 discus livin with him and he hides behide them.. hahaha when i come to think of it he is like a sheep dog setting them up then hiding behind them.. but yea time will tell! or i will swap him with a baby silver.

HEY I GOT IT!!!! Is your fish still skittish?

I got the Hik sticks and I have my lid opened a crack where I dont need to open it to feed him. Every time I go in the room I feed him 2 or 3, he loves me now. Im serious when I go in the room he looks at me to feed it and the colors have brightnend big time.

i have the same problem with my 15cm silver!! only at night its cool!! but with tha lights On he is like a scary kid!!
