Arowanas in pond. would you risk it???

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you can get those thin nets used to keep birds out

wad u can do on the other hand is 2 give the pond a fencing... not high of cuz... short fence would be nice...

haha yeh the fence would probably be a good idea considering i have two small dogs. if my sisters chihuawa goes missing one day ill have to check my red tail's belly :p

den set-up an electric fence on the perimeter of uR pond... tat way uR sister's chihuahua will not get anywhere near it... otherwise risk getting fried... LoL... btw chihuahua are irritating dogs... i especially can't stand the 1 tat Paris Hilton carries around in her handbag...

HAHA awesome! Every time we go to the petshop my gf wants to look at those little yappy rodent-dog things, and every time I say 'one day I'll have fish big enough to feed them to'....
[hope your sister doesnt read this!] :D

The problem with putting a fence around the outside 3' of the pond is that the aro could jump and land on the net and get tangled in it.

I think your aro would be fine in the pond w/o a net. I think jumps in aquariums are so dangerous because they dont land back in the water, instead they hit the floor.

With a pond this size, I find it hard to believe an aro is going to jump out.

I could be wrong. This is just my speculation.

I agree, I think the chances would be much less. Perhaps you could have the sides of the pond sloped so if it did jump and land out of the water it would probably flop/slide back in.

there you go. just make sure the dogs dont fall in. :headbang2

Well if zak on youtube channel, cacth em all,has silver arowana in so small pool i think you are safe
