Arowanna killer

Igor is still eating. He's getting some color too. Probably a 1/4 inch longer than when I rescued him. (he's not dead yet). He's surviving water changes. and vacuuming. He(or she) is swimming very gracefully and appears confident in the tank. The color change has been remarkable.
 
sorry about previous post! What I meant to say was you haven't had any success with them previously. Glad 2 hear he is doing good!

His name is Igor. I'll keep you posted as to his well being. He's quite the hunter. Today he got a cricket trying to escape up a plant stem. Don't coount him dead yet. left in the store he'd be dead by now.

good for you and im sure the aro will do fine in your care and needs no special care except they do get alot bigger than average fish LOL.
just do whatever you think right and good for your fish and take those "expert advices" with grain of salt..you prolly is the bettter expert yourself and care for your fish than them

Yes I am aware and I know I responded on this early thread and I asked him if he is going to try again and find out what's up with 6 aros in the past if I'm not mistaken.
 
And his latest progress with his latest fish seems to be heading the right direction so far maybe it takes 6 aros for him to succeed in raising one.
