Wow. Should i feel bad that my Silver Arowana Has drop eye on 1 side i have tried most things but he does'nt seem to care what i try i feed him from the top Lost my hand a couple of times So should i just leave it :\

The purpose of this was to correct the broken rays he had in his tail.

Tails, fins, and even barbels will grow back as long as the fish has a well maintained tank and diet. While moving my jardini, it jumped and hit the inside corner of the tank, leaving its left barbel totally ripped off. I thought that it would never grow back. But after a year, the barbels are back to normal.

I agree that your fish's tail looks a lot better than the original.
