Asian arowana tail removal video

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't understand why you did this. It was a minor imperfection. I could barely see it. Did you just feel like playing DOCTOR? I could see if you were repairing an eye issue but this is the equivalent of cosmetic surgery. No offense . . .

Good question, so im not offended.

The impact the damaged ray was having was, it affected his swimming patters, and was erratating the base of his dorsal fin.

Other than that, your right, it was also for astetics. I could go into why asian arowana keepers do this, but you'll learn much more by researching it yourself.

I will say that that broken ray ruined the entire fish for me. I had to fix it. I felt sick to my stomach when i first seen the broken tail. Making me almost not even want to house the fish anymore. Again, this has to do with Asian arowanas only. This is not my opinion on all fish.

I can understand yours, and others point of view though... But try to understand mine. I know the main reason would have to be because you dont own one.
