Dude thier called snappers for a reason. One could seriously injure another turtle with thier massive jaws. Unless you have a very large tank/pond I would advise aggainst it.
you do know we are talking about a 3 1/2" common snapper, right? im not trying to be mean or anything but i think the chances of the asian box turtle hurting the snapper are a lot more likelythan the other way around. the asian box turtle is twice as big, the yellow belly is alittle less than the asian box turtle.

An Ambo is a terrestrial Turtle for the most part, and your trying to keep it with a Slider?

Face - Palm - headshake.......

i wouldnt suggest putting anything in with the snapper. its a bad idea. i have had mine since he was a little smaller than a half dollar (common snapper) and he will not tolerate any tank mates. he is about the same size as yours. he requires a tank by himself really. preferably about 4 or 5 inches of water and a places to hide. my turtle is a very happy camper.

Me and the poster quoted above both told you that it will most likely not work because of the snappers aggression. He even gave you personal experience. What more do you want? You asked if they could be kept together and we have answered no for various reasons. Unless I have missed something. Not too sound like an ******* but what more do you want? Could you? Yea you can do whatever you want it's your animals. You can throw some musdkippers and fb toads in there too and watch the chaos unfold. So to answer your question yes you COULD but I wouldn't...

ambo = amboinensis = asian box turtle
what is an "outdoor pin"?
the reason why your snapper isnt aggro is because it's still small. another inch and you'll have an amputee MBT. keep them separated.

an outdoor pin is like a fenced in area i keep my box turtles in.
