asian box turtle, yellow belly, and snapper

Second NEVER EVER put a snapper with any other turtle unless they are 2 adult snappers of oposite sex in a huge outdoor enclosure and your in the way of becoming a snapper breeder...or babys by a few weeks after hatching. Snappers inflict horrible desfigurating wounds in other turtles, all it takes in bad mood and also snapper are naturally predaceous thoards other turtles. DONT do it. As for puting the asian boxy with a yellow belly....really it depends, is the boxy male or female, what size its the enclosure, what species its the boxy. If I had to say a simple awnser I would say no but it gets trickier then that. However if you are indeed limited in space, oh yea defenetly no.

Is your turtle of the same species I posted the pic? Anyways it doesant matter, your not keeping those 2 turtles in a 50 gallon, 50 are hardly enough for one

I would guess something like a 75G for the Cuora a. alone, as they are semi-terrestrial and should be kept more like our wood and bog turtles. Ditto for the YBS if it's male; if you have a female you'll need something larger. For the snapper figure a 300G or large pond type deal.

And I would not keep them together. Theoretically you could keep the YBS and snapper together for a bit because the snapper is small, but even then you risk the slider nipping off the tip of its tail or some such thing. But snappers grow pretty quickly, and it really won't take long for him to be strong enough to amputate a limb off your YBS.

Cool, have you raised it since young or already brough it grown? I have 2.1 of thouse and they are one of my fav turtles:D Keep the water temp by 26-28c at all times and feed it allot of dark lafy vegetables, some fruit like mango and fig and from time to time some fish, worms and turt food.

Okay, some advice for the next time you do things. Research-Ask Questions-Setting up tank-Buy. Also, I don't think self comforting about how snappers will not get your other turtles is wise. Its like crossing a a busy road and telling yourself that you won't be so unlucky to be hit by a car.
