I did notice a nice growth spurt when I moved everyone from my 220 to that tank ... They were moved in November, I just wish the tank was a foot wider! I know the tigers appreciated the extra swim length of 10 feet for sure, but the 30 inch width is def going to become a problem as these guys get larger .... ohhh well, guess I'll have to build the next one :D .... got a rough plan, but I figure I got at least a year or 2 until it becomes a necessity

Thanks and no worries ... laguna max flow 4200 gph if i remember correctly, but its prob only pushing 3500 or so due to 2 elbows and friction

Guess I should add that I have 4 hydor koralia magnum 8 water circulators pushing 3250 gph each in the tank to maintain the strong current as well

Just got my ray pup tank plumbed into the big tanks filter and running .... flooded it a couple times trying to start the syphon on that stupid u tube for the hang over the back overflow system, but with a lot of cussing and swearing I got it finally ... good thing its a wet basement and a little water isnt going to cause any major issues! Now we just need her to have the pups! :)

Certainly not pretty, but it will get the job done ... just used left over parts and plumbing pieces from my other 2 tanks and a lot of zip ties ... wish you guys could have seen me trying to start that U tube syphon first with my mouth, then suction cups, lol it was hysterical! Well not at the time, then I watched a quick video using air line tubing to get it started and that worked just fine ... I was thinking maybe my buddy forgot to give me a part I needed or something

I'm basically positive she is prego .... she is absolutely huge, with 2 big humps and I have seen squirming in there, just hard because her skin jiggles too, I'll post some pics so your expertise can judge, since I'm a ray newbi for sure .... I know the cats will eat the babies I am watching very closely for any change in her behavior ... then what I'll do is maybe increase temp a degree or 2 and hope to induce birth while I'm home .... theres really nowhere I can put her so I have to take the chance that I'll catch her in the act and get them out immediately ... I know its a risk I just have no other options cause she's too big for the 40 gallon breeder I set up and my 220 is having issues so I dont trust it .... I'll have to be so vigilant when I think its gonna happen otherwise yeah, goonch cookies .... luckily I work early in the am and get home usually around noon so between me and the fiance hopefully we can catch it happening, but yeah chances are it'll happen at night so hopefully I see a sign and then start the around the clock vigil
