Any updates on all the gars?

They’re all doing just fine. Their new tank is almost cycled but o leave for Daytona Bike week tomorrow so when I get back I will test all peramiters and hopefully be moving them over soon! I’ll definitely post pics when I do.

Moved the two Trops into the 330g. Once I see the levels stay good I’ll move the Cuban over. So far so good.

The Cuban is still separated but doing so good. His fin that was torn off like a stump, has grown back. A little goofy looking but fully functioning.


The Trops are doing good too. The larger one is gorgeous. The smaller is pretty muted in color and lacks pattern. May sell it off. But both are eating and growing nicely.

I haven’t measured in a while. But the large is around 16” I would guess. Here’s some pics of the two tropicals. Much different coloration.
