Has anyone ever thumped their Oscar for biting them when your hand was in the tank for , say, fixing a decoration? Or given an "attitude adjustment" to and overly aggressive fish in the form of a thump with a net, or move the mean little spawn to the Piranha tank out in the garage? Come on, be honest.

I figured out that if I went after my Jag with a closed fist and just pushed on his mouth a little bit he wouldn't bite me when I was doing gravel vacs.

ya lol i have poped my gar od the noise before for taking a snap at me well cleaning ;)

Wow, we've got simultaneous threads with people killing fish out of convenience and beating their fish out of petulance. Impressive...or not.

That's funny, I was just this weekend moving grow out tanks and wanted to finish transport of the fish to the bigger tank that was to be used to rehome the 3 red belly piranah. I used the old two net method and was able to get every tank resident with the exception of the two hifin plecos. Those "suckers" (Pun fully intended) WOULD HAVE NO PART OF COMING OUT, SO THEY GOT THEIR WISH, I LEFT THEM ALONE. They did not seem to like their new tankmates it the RBP's and feeder comets. Last night you would be freakin' jaw dropping shocked to see just how cooperative the two were in the tank transfer. They could have saved themself some fin loss if they would have stuck to the program!

Wow! Wonder if some people would spank an infant for soiling a diaper? Frickin weird!

Probably! Yet another sad thing, anyone can have a child! :(

Whats so weird about nudging a fish when it repeatedly bites your hand doing whatever?

Hes not mollywopping the **** out of them and breaking thier faces....

What's the difference between meat and fish?

If you beat your fish, it'll die.
