IMO it would be pretty hard to put a price on a platinum gar or barra, as they are so uncommon. It would come down more to what an individual would be prepared to pay for such a fish.

yer...not sure if we have any but if we do im guessing it will be like 3 chiili red arowana's lol

SPILL YOUR SECRETS!

everyone give locations of good lfs.

there's a good one out side of the pine rivers state high school, near the westfield at Strathpine - a bit dirty, but they have some sick stock.
one in stafford (don't ask where, I have no idea, lol) on an intersection. - clean, stock heavy on discus, but no real monsters, just lots of bread and butter fish.
Clay field aquarium owns

Smith's is pretty expensive but they're the best LFS in Brisbane hands down, although they're selling Blood Parrots now which is a massive let down. Pet City would have to be my second favourite because they actually stock Eartheaters, but I've seen both dyed and hybrid species there.

WetPetz is also decent if you're chasing something specific.

Aquarama at Stafford, the one Liam is talking about on the intersection (next to Hobbyrama) has great driftwood, but I'd never buy fish from there.

Queenslander? Check out Queensland Aquarium Forum, very popular trading section especially if you're in SE Queensland.

Just Freshwater, I don't really take much notice of salt when I do my rounds. Atlas Aquariums at Wavell Heights, Clayfield Aquariums, Aquarama at Stafford and Pet City at Mt Gravatt all have pretty quality salt lineups from what I have seen.
