hey guys i'm from perth
have a 6' tank with a 30cm male dovii
and a 7' tank with 3 mono. peacock bass, 2 tandanus and a few biggish plecos

i'm from Bulli (wollongong)
ive got 1 8x2x2 full of geo's
2 3x2x2 with 10 monoculus in 1 and 10 bocourti and 4 petina splendida (Red Morphs)
in the other....

I love this site... these sepo's don't know how good they've got it!!
Some of the stuff that they have at their fingertips is mind blowing...
although ,i must admit, that our scene is seeing more species becoming
available, thanks to those sneeky asians....god love em!

who would have thought even 5 years ago that stingrays would be as available as they are...or even all the new eartheaters that have flooded the markets of late...

Good to have another keen America keeper on board, even better than you're into Eartheaters. The Australian market is indeed evolving but we're always going to be jealous of what the yanks have over there, but even still I think I'll stick to living over here in a country that's infinitely more beautiful!

Certainly plenty of Eartheaters becoming available; but there's just as many mislabled ones unfortunately. Gymnogeophagus balzanii are getting around up here (even in stores), and I've had the pleasure of seeing a few beautiful rare specimens like a full size trio of Biotodoma cupido lately.

speaking of monsters!!! whats the name of the biggest malawi cichlids....starts with "B"......i saw a shop in sydney that had em for $200 each....they were about 4-5 inches and really healthy....i just cant think of the name......big yellow stripped things, look like fresh water "kingies"........somebody will know....
