Hey Steve, Heres some toga, for now, no monster but theres an 75 in there (not on the mat),
Plus I put me sister onto a couple,
she used a CJR720 / 6' and Abu Revo STX with 8lb sunline super PE
and a 10lb leader, she learnt to cast it that day, also used an Anthrax 80.

I used a TD-A combo 2500+6-10lb 1 peice rod, 10lb PE and 10lb flurocarbon.
and a TD Sol baitcaster rod and TD HRF 30lb PE and 16lb Fluro, lures were anthrax 80, zoom horny toads, R2S Rovers 125's I think, and various snagless soft lures.

enjoy

Wow amazing pics.

Louie the indopacific permit are caught from the beach, for bait most people use pipis a type of clam which is found in the sand on the beach, very handy.

Some pics from a night time trip out on my local river the Brisbane river, saltwater for a bit of a change. Pictured are some Mulloway a relative of the Redfish you get in the the southeast states. These grow to 6 feet and are a great sportfish and popular here in Australia. We only caught 6 small ones on this trip about 70cm. But of course there was the one that got away :( also there is a pic of a Gold Spot Estuary Cod a type of grouper these guys also grow to well over six feet. Caught some other bycatch but no pics. The fish were all caught on home moulded soft vibration baits made by my mate Dan that I was fishing with. All fish were released after being tagged with Fisheries research tags.
