I pulled the 2nd spawn and counted 104 with 24 albino. I moved them into the growout with the first batch. Papa wasn't happy.

Moved the BN fry into a 29g and picked up 8 Featherfin Green Dragon BN. My BN male is not happy about my moving his cave so that the entrance faces the front of the aquarium. I have 5 caves stack on each other and he is now hiding under the stack. I use an undergravel filter in the 90 so any eggs that get laid under there won't survive.

I have a calico male. Not sure about the female as she is brown. Out of the approx 40 fry less than a dozen are albino in this batch. I have 5 29g grow out tanks waiting for a stand. I will stop by Lowes or HD to get the 2 2x6 I need after work. Already have the rest of the materials.
Oh they are so cute! And so many babies :) Mum and dad must each have an albino gene to get albino babies. Interesting.

I always wondered if some of my plecos were brown or calico, they get those markings. Very beautiful :)

Started moving some of the BNP fry into a second 29g to lower the bio load. Some of them are getting into the 2in size.

You can start to sell them at that size. I've seen 1-1.5" for sale before.

Agree. A larger pleco will fetch a higher price, but many ppl are looking for baby plecos because they eat more algae. Not the reason to get a pleco, but it is how it goes. My LFS wants the smaller ones over the larger ones usually.

I asked my LFS what size they prefer and he requested bigger.
